Stiletto Deuce Head Series 2 | Classic Rock | After a lot of messing around I keep coming back to these settings.
I use my Gibson Les Paul and SG guitars and always set their tone knobs at seven.
I use a Bixonic Expandora overdrive pedal for solos. |

Stiletto Ace | warm bluesy/crunch tone | Guitar: Ernie Ball Music Man JP6
Tubes: Stock Mesa tubes
The crunch mode is the hardest to tame but these settings sound fantastic to my ears in all pickup positions. |

Stiletto Deuce Head | Classic Metal Rhythm | For a classic metal rhythm tone. This is also approximate based on EMG 81's in the bridge position. These settings are not exactly on the hour. You will need to slightly adjust them to accomodate for your own guitar, cab, pickups, playing style, etc. Also, this is with the FX Loop switched out, so the Solo and Output knobs will be disengaged. For brighter cabs, scale back the highs a little. For thinner speakers, boost the mids a little more, stopping short of making the sound "boxy." For oversized cabs, you may need to scale the bass back a bit. If you need more of a boost, I would recommend using pedals such as a Tube Screamer with the gain around 9 o'clock, tone around 9 o'clock to keep the sound from becoming britle, and the level around 12 o'clock. |

Stiletto Deuce Head | social distortion tone / or early Super Lead | Sounds really works with a PAF EQUIPED
guitar (mine being an Sg standard with burstbucker pro's) but with emgs or a seymors it cops a real classic rock to 80s rock the harder you pick. Note to all Stilleto users who are having problems with this amp being bright and tinny the controls work really different than marshalls or other mesa's always keep the presence below 5 oclock and the presence low as well. enjoy |
