Epiphone Valve Junior
Due to the cost of the Epiphone Valve Junior it's almost impossible to pass one up. At $99 for the head and $139 for the combo you just need to grab one and give it a try.
Single-ended Class A amp that pushes 5W with a single EL84 tube and a 12AX7. The combo push an 8" speaker to surprisingly loud volumes. The head version includes DC filaments for reduced hum.

After listening to the sound clips the Valve Junior sounds quite different from a Fender Champ and without a pedal a bit more versitile. Still has a very bluesy sound to it but also produces a Vox-like chime which means slap a pedal in front and they sky's the limit with this amp. This amp could be the perfect bedroom tube amp.
